Okay, so we don't know any mermaids personallyyyy to know that they drink this but the pretty blue-green coloring is reminiscent of a mermaid fin and felt fitting. This is technically two different plant-based, mushroom-packed smoothie recipes poured together. It is pretty simple and the mix of flavors make it unique and yummy!
Ingredients:
Frozen Blueberries
- Frozen spinach
- Frozen banana
- Pitted dates
- Malama Mushrooms Lion's Mane Extract
- Malama Mushrooms Four-Mushroom Extract
- Vanilla protein powder
- *Collagen peptides (optional - omit to make vegan)
- Matcha
- Oat milk
- Optional toppings for texture (pictured): Goji berries, chia seeds, coconut flakes, macadamia nuts, chopped dates
Directions:
Blend first mix (bottom half shown in photo):
- ½ cup blueberries
- 1 scoop vanilla protein
- ½ cup oat milk
- 2 tsp Malama Lion’s Mane Mushroom Extract Powder
Blend second mix (top half shown in photo):
- ½ cup frozen spinach
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 pitted dates
- 1 tsp matcha
- 1 scoop collagen (optional)
- ½ cup ice
- ½ cup filtered water
- 1 tbsp Malama's Four-Mushroom Blend Extract
- Pour first mix halfway into glass. Layer second mix on top. Swirl with soon for some color swirls! Add desired toppings for garnish and crunch :)
